How To Mastermind Your Concept Into Reality - The Invention Intelligence Mindsets
Cally Robson

Don't limit your thinking about your new idea. Especially in its early days, you are the only one who can shape it into a viable business proposition.

From my experience coaching many many people to develop their new ideas, I pinned down 7 key areas that are essential to focus on as an innovative product or business is made real.

I described them as the Invention Intelligence Mindsets because when I got clients to THINK ABOUT THEIR IDEA AS IF THEY WERE OTHER PEOPLE, they got dramatic insights about the way their idea should be developed and commercialized.

They became less dependent on the conflicting advice and opinion around them, and more clear about their priorities and course of action.

Below are the 7 Invention Intelligence Mindsets, each with a short summary of its kind of thinking.

  • Visionary Entrepreneur

People buy into a visionary leader as much as the new idea itself. Dare to think big, sniff out risk and play for big rewards.

  • Me-Myself-I

Your new idea or service should be an extension of YOU. Make sure you build on firm foundations.

  • Paid Managing Director

Reward yourself for spending time on strategies, planning and structure, and you'll be a powerhouse of action and achievement.

  • Customer Champion

Love your customer more than your idea. And your idea will turn out perfectly. Step into this mindset with relish.

  • Top Salesman

Learn to listen and think like a true salesman and your idea will find its own best route to market.

  • IP Investor

Ownership is everything. Look after your Intellectual Property and your assets will reward you handsomely.

  • Creative, Inventive, Innovative Genius!

Inventive people often fail because they stick to their natural mindset. Be careful to look at your idea from all angles.

To find out more of the thinking behind each Mindset, download and review the Invention Intelligence Checklists for more than 100 guiding strategies and principles.

Wishing you success,
