In this Privacy Policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Catallyst Ltd, and "our Website", "the Website" or "the site" refer to www.ShesIngenious.org  which is owned and managed by Catallyst Ltd

INFORMATION WE COLLECT MAY INCLUDE:

   1. Personal details you knowingly to provide us through subscription forms, such as your name, email address, address and postcode.

   2. Your preferences and use of email updates, recorded by emails we send you (if you select to receive email updates on products and offers).

   3. Your IP Address. This is a string of numbers unique to your computer that is recorded by our web server when you request any page or component on the Website. This information is used to monitor your usage of the Website.

   4. Data recorded by the Website which allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings, this saves you from re-entering information on return visits to the site. Such data is recorded locally on you computer through the use of cookies. Most browsers can be programmed to reject cookies, or warn you before downloading them, information regarding this may be found in your browser's 'Help' facility.

   5. Private Forums. We provide our subscribers with a multi-tiere Discussion Forum that makes sharing information with other members easy. To protect your privacy when posting or replying to messages in the message board, only your user name, not your personal information and email, is revealed. However, remember that any information you disclose in the message board areas can be read by other members, so exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. Be aware that the first 30 words of eash forum post are visible to search engines, to help with search engine optimisation.

WHAT WE MAY DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION

Any personal information we collect from this website will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. The details we collect will be used:

  1. To process your membership and/or order, and to provide after-sales service. Under no circumstances will we hold sensitive payment details such as your card number, expiry date and security code. All transactions are handled through our secure transactions partner, the Sagepay payment gateway.
  2. In certain cases we may use your email address to send you information on our other events and services. In such a case you will be offered the option to opt in/out of receiving these emails.
  3. We may need to pass your name and email details to partners we work with, for administrative purposes, for example the British Library to reserve your place at a workshop there. We may use third parties to carry out certain activities, such as processing and sorting data, monitoring how customers use the Website and issuing our e-mails for us. Third parties will be strictly prohibited from using your personal information for their own purposes.

Security

We use a variety of security measures including encryption and authentication from third party providers to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under our control. This Website is regularly scanned to ensure it is compliant with the latest PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) so that personal data is secure.
